Thad Cox

Thad Cox, the Head of Technology & Operations at WHAS-TV, oversees the On-Air and Online content to ensure FCC and ATSC standards are met. With a background in television production and systems maintenance, Thad previously served as a Technology Manager at WTSP-TV. Thad has extensive experience as a Broadcast Systems Engineer, directing the installation of broadcasting systems and upgrading legacy systems. Prior to their career in broadcasting, Thad served in the US Army as a 25R Audio/Video/Repair specialist. With an MBA from the University of Phoenix and degrees in Electrical and Electronics Engineering and Radio/TV/Film, Thad has a strong educational foundation to support their role in the industry.
