Zama Jugar

Zama Jugar has extensive experience in partnerships, business development, and public affairs across various sectors. Currently serving as Partnerships Lead for International Markets at what3words since September 2021, Zama previously held the position of Head of Business Development at Zulzi and served as Partnerships Manager at what3words. Zama's career also includes roles as Trade Officer at Eksportrådet – The Trade Council, where responsibilities involved managing relationships for Danish companies in South Africa, and as Account Manager in EU Regulatory and Public Affairs at EPPA, focusing on EU trade and environmental policies. Early experiences include research roles at the Centre for the Study of Governance Innovation and the South African Institute of International Affairs, as well as journalism at Media 24. Zama Jugar holds a Master of Science in International Political Economy from The London School of Economics and Political Science and a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in International Relations from the University of Pretoria.
