Brent Fisher has extensive experience in various roles within the retail industry. Brent started their career at Payless ShoeSource in 2001, where they worked as a Financial Analyst and later became a Merchandise Planner. In these roles, they were responsible for planning, forecasting, and analyzing sales, inventory, and expenses. Brent also played a key role in implementing a new purchase order management system, which helped to reduce the effective tax rate. In 2008, Brent became a Manager of Merchandise Distribution at Payless ShoeSource, where they managed a team and optimized sales and margin through strategic inventory management. In 2009, they joined Collective Brands, Inc. as the Director of Merchandise Distribution, where they developed strategic plans and led a team to optimize sales and margin for footwear assortment. Brent then returned to Payless ShoeSource in 2011 as the Director of Supply Chain Solutions Strategy, where they worked with IT professionals to implement various applications and developed a data governance organization. Finally, they joined Whataburger in 2013 as the Business Manager in the Office of the CFO and later became the Director of Financial Planning and Analysis.
Brent Fisher completed their Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) in Finance at Brigham Young University from 1994 to 2000. Brent later pursued a Master's in Business Administration (MBA) in Business Administration and Management from The University of Kansas, from 2003 to 2006.
