Alix Prior

Alix Prior, MSW, currently serves as Branch Manager at Whatcom County Library System since September 2022. Prior experience includes positions as Housing Programs Coordinator at Opportunity Council and Director of SafeChoice Community Services & Outreach at YWCA Clark County. Alix also held roles as Shelter Advocate and Volunteer & Internship Program Coordinator at Raphael House of Portland. In addition, Alix was a Temporary Family Winter Shelter Volunteer Coordinator & Service Point Data Clerk at Portland Homeless Family Solutions and completed an MSW internship in Sexual & Relationship Violence Prevention at Portland State University. Alix holds a Master’s Degree in Social Work from Portland State University and a Human Services Management Certificate from the Network for Social Work Management. A Bachelor of Arts in Human Services with a minor in Psychology was earned at Western Washington University.
