Cynthia French

Cynthia French is a seasoned communications and marketing professional with extensive experience in various roles across the arts and education sectors. Currently serving as a Communications Specialist at Whatcom County Library System since August 2018, Cynthia previously worked as a Marketing Manager at Jansen Art Center and amassed 20 years of experience as a self-employed Performing and Teaching Artist. Additional positions include Assistant Director and Office Manager at The Mission to Seafarers, Pub Manager and Event Planner at Cara Irish Pubs, Executive Director at Great River Arts Association, Event Coordinator for the National Poetry Slam, and Assistant Director of Undergraduate Admission at Hamline University. Cynthia holds an MFA in Writing and a BA in International Studies, both from Hamline University.
