Blake Bendock-Yang

Blake Bendock-Yang has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. They are currently working as a Program Manager - Product Development at Whatcom Educational Credit Union-WECU® since April 2023.

Prior to that, Blake worked as an Associate at AG Consulting Partners, Inc. from September 2021 to January 2023.

From September 2021 to January 2023, Blake was a Technical Program Manager at Microsoft, where they contributed to migration efforts, process improvements, and program adoption.

From April 2020 to September 2021, Blake held multiple roles at Pratt & Whitney, including Product Owner and Software QA Lead. In these roles, they gathered requirements, created user stories, and managed software bugs.

They also worked as a Junior Technical Consultant at HCL Technologies from March 2020 to September 2021.

In 2019, Blake had two internships: one as an IT Project Management Intern at Access Laser Company and another as a Lean Project Management Intern at Genie – a Terex brand. In these roles, they provided support, learned various business system processes, and collected performance data.

From 2017 to 2019, Blake worked at the University of Washington Bothell in various roles, including Operations Crew, Front Desk Representative, and Fitness Instructor.

Before that, Blake had experience working as a Server at Red Robin and Patty's Eggnest.

Blake Bendock-Yang obtained a high school diploma from Edmonds Woodway High School in 2014. From 2013 to 2014, they pursued Running Start at Edmonds College, focusing on Business Administration and Management. Blake then attended Cascadia College from 2014 to 2017, where they earned an Associate's degree in Business Administration.

In 2017, Blake enrolled at the University of Washington Bothell School of Business. Blake pursued a double major in Business Administration, with a focus on Management Information Systems and Technology Innovation Management. Blake completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in 2019.

During their time at the University of Washington, Blake also pursued a Minor in Computing & Software Systems: Information Technology. Blake attended the University of Washington from 2018 to 2019.

In terms of additional certifications, Blake obtained a Java Full Stack Web Development certification from Udemy in September 2020. Blake also obtained a Certified SAFe® 5 Product Owner/Product Manager certification from Scaled Agile, Inc. in December 2022.
