Anna Shuford

Anna Shuford is an experienced professional currently serving as an Account Executive at Whatnot since July 2024. Previously, Anna founded and led BOOMROOM from August 2020 to January 2024, an integrated platform designed for fitness and wellness entrepreneurs, overseeing key functions such as financing, business development, and marketing. Anna participated in the Techstars Physical Health Fort Worth Accelerator in late 2022 and was also a member of Accelerator Cohort 16 at Launch Chapel Hill in 2021, where Anna worked on the BOOMROOM venture and received funding. Prior experience includes a marketing partnerships internship at The Madison Square Garden Company, where Anna developed successful marketing proposals and research strategies, and a managerial role at Hope Center Uganda, co-founding a women's health program. Anna also gained digital marketing and event management experience during an internship at AmCham Australia. Educational qualifications include an MBA in Marketing from UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School and multiple degrees from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, including a Bachelor's in Strategic Communication.
