Amaka Ubaka

Amaka Ubaka is an accomplished journalist with extensive experience in the field of broadcasting. Currently serving as the Weekday Morning Anchor, Weekend Evening Anchor, and News Reporter at 7 NEWS, WHDH-TV since May 2016, Amaka has honed skills in storytelling and news reporting. Prior to this role, the career includes positions as a General Assignment Reporter at WKMG News 6 from January 2013 to August 2015, as well as at WOWT NBC Omaha from December 2011 to January 2013, and at KRCR ABC 7 from August 2010 to November 2011. Amaka's educational background consists of a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications and International Studies, along with a Minor in Sociology from the University of Miami. This diverse experience and strong educational foundation have equipped Amaka with the tools necessary to deliver compelling news content.
