Andrew McGuire

Andrew McGuire is an experienced housing professional and public servant, currently serving as a Housing Officer at Wheatley Group since July 2019. Responsibilities include management of around 200 properties, focusing on rent collection, estate management, and tenancy issues, while also enhancing customer communication within the housing association. Additionally, since May 2017, Andrew has been a Councillor representing Armadale, Blackridge, Westifle, and Torphichen, holding key positions such as Chair of the Local Area Committee. Previous experience includes serving as Senior Caseworker for Neil Findlay MSP at The Scottish Parliament, managing casework with diverse stakeholders, and executing campaign strategies for the Labour Party during the 2015 General Election. Educationally, Andrew McGuire holds a Master's degree and a Postgraduate Diploma in Housing Studies, along with a Bachelor's degree in History and Politics from the University of Stirling.
