Vera Amaral

Vera Amaral has a diverse work experience in the legal field. Vera started their professional journey as a Judicial Law Clerk at Bucks County Court of Common Pleas in 2006. After that, they worked as an Associate at Hoyle, Fickler, Herschel & Mathes LLP from 2007 to 2011. In 2011, they served as a Contract Attorney at Peak Counsel, Inc. Vera then joined CUNY New York City College of Technology, where they held various roles including Assistant Counsel, Interim Executive Director of Human Resources, and Executive Director of Human Resources. Their most recent position was at WHEDco, where they worked as the Assistant General Counsel & Director of Human Resources from September 2018.

Vera Amaral pursued higher education and earned a JD degree in Law from Temple University - James E. Beasley School of Law during the period of 2003 to 2006. Prior to that, they completed their undergraduate studies at Trinity College-Hartford from 1999 to 2003, where they received a BA degree with a dual major in Economics and Religion.
