Øystein Volden

Øystein Volden has a diverse work experience in various roles. Øystein started their career as a Teaching Assistant at NTNU i Ålesund in 2016 and later worked as an Assistant/Care Worker at Ålesund kommune from 2012 to 2016. In 2017, they worked as a Teaching Assistant again at NTNU i Ålesund.

In 2018, Øystein had a summer internship at SHM enabling technologies, where they developed and experimented with computer vision and deep learning algorithms.

Øystein then joined NTNU as a Scientific Assistant in 2019 before becoming a Part-time Software Developer at Maritime Robotics AS from 2019 to 2020.

From 2020 to 2023, Øystein worked as a PhD Candidate at Norges teknisk-naturvitenskapelige universitet (NTNU), focusing on their research.

In 2022, they had a research stay at Instituto Superior Técnico.

Currently, Øystein is working as a Perception Engineer at wheel.me since 2023.
