Øyvind Vallestad

Øyvind Vallestad has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Øyvind joined wheel.me in 2021 and currently holds the position of Head of Supply Chain. Prior to this, they worked as a Global Sourcing Manager in the same company from 2021 to 2022.

Before joining wheel.me, Øyvind worked as a Freelance Journalist for NTB starting from 2014. Øyvind also worked as a Freelance Journalist for aNb Media from 2006 to 2014 and Media of Norway AS from 2011 to 2014.

In 2010, Øyvind joined AKOFS Offshore as a Buyer, a role they held until 2021. Øyvind also worked as a Project Coordinator for AKOFS Offshore from 2010 to 2013, where they were responsible for the Document Control team and the management of document handling systems.

Prior to their time at AKOFS Offshore, Øyvind worked as a Document Controller for Master Marine AS in 2010 and Aker Solutions from 2009 to 2010. Øyvind also served as a Bouncer at Radisson Blu from 2006 to 2010.

Øyvind's previous experience also includes a role as a Document Controller at Aker Solutions from 2007 to 2008. Additionally, they worked as a Truckdriver for Haug Offshore Services AS in 2004.

Øyvind Vallestad's education history is as follows:

From 2013 to 2018, Øyvind attended NIMA (Federation for Procurement & Logistics, Norway), where they pursued a Procurement Programme.

In 2008 and 2009, Øyvind studied at Mediehøgskolen Gimlekollen and obtained a Bachelor's degree in Journalism.

Between 2006 and 2007, Øyvind was enrolled at the University of Agder (UiA), where they focused on Health and Physical Education/Fitness and obtained a degree in Personal Training.

From 2005 to 2006, Øyvind also attended the University of Agder (UiA) and studied Communication and Media Studies.

In 2004 and 2005, Øyvind completed a One-year Programme in Multimedia at Mediehøgskolen Gimlekollen.

Øyvind's education in Sports Journalism and Exercise took place from 2003 to 2004 at Skjeberg Folkehøyskole.

Lastly, from 1999 to 2002, Øyvind attended Flora Videregående Skule, focusing on Sports Studies.
