Tom F.

Tom F. has a diverse work experience in the field of cybersecurity and information technology. Tom is currently working at Wheel Pros as the Head of Cybersecurity, Cyber Security Architect, and Chief Information Security Officer. In this role, they develop and maintains the company's information security strategy and implements policies and controls to protect company information assets.

Prior to their current position, Tom worked at Innovative Financial, LLC as the Chief Information Technology Officer. Here, they provided strategic oversight to protect data and created a roadmap to meet business initiatives.

Tom F. began their education in 1981 at the Control Data Institute, where they obtained an Associate's degree in Computer & Systems Technology.

Afterward, they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Computer Systems Security from Colorado Technical University, completing their studies in 2007.

Tom has also obtained several certifications throughout their career. In 2000, they received the Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certification from Cisco.

In 2003, they obtained the Security+ certification from CompTIA, followed by the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification from (ISC)² in 2004.

Tom achieved the Security Essentials (GSEC) Gold certification from GIAC Certifications in 2004 as well.

Additionally, Tom obtained the INFOSEC Evaluation Methodology (IEM) and the INFOSEC Assessment Methodology (IAM) certifications from the National Security Agency in 2005.

Tom further expanded their knowledge in the field by obtaining two certifications in 2010: the Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC) certification from ISACA and the Information Security Assessment Methodology (ISAM) certification from the National Security Agency.
