Karen Pearce is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in healthcare management and policy development. Currently serving as the Director of Policy and Engagement at Wheelchair Alliance since May 2023 and a Member of the Board of Trustees at Integrated Neurological Services, Karen also coordinates initiatives for Pearce Partnership while working as a Freelance Consultant focused on the public and third sectors. Previously, Karen held significant leadership roles, including Director of Care for the Motor Neurone Disease Association from 2010 to 2017, where strategic advancements in care for patients were prioritized. Karen's past experience includes serving as Assistant Director of Unscheduled Care at Hounslow & Richmond Community Healthcare Alliance and as Business Head for Specialist Personal Medical Services, successfully managing and improving struggling GP practices. Educational credentials include an MBA from Kingston University and a foundational degree in Physiotherapy from Guys Hospital School of Physiotherapy.
