Hannah Pratt, MPNL, has a diverse range of work experience in the fields of fundraising, marketing, communications, and community relations.
Hannah began their career in 2009 as a Fundraising Consultant, Marketing Strategist, and Sales Coach at Hannah Rose PR.
In 2011, they joined the Canadian Public Relations Society - Manitoba Chapter as a Board Member, where they managed online social media networks and created communications strategies for events. Hannah served in this role until 2015.
From 2011 to 2012, they worked as a Communications Intern at True North Sports & Entertainment, where they gained experience in the sports industry.
In 2012, they became the Communications Coordinator for The Winnipeg Humane Society, where they managed various communications projects, social media networks, and media relations.
In 2013, they joined the Manitoba Centre for Health Policy at the University of Manitoba as a Communications Officer, responsible for all aspects of communications and public relations for the research center. Hannah worked in this role until 2014.
From 2014 to 2018, they held several positions with the Winnipeg Blue Bombers, including Manager of Community Relations, Director of Community Relations, and Project Coordinator for the Break the Silence on Violence Against Women campaign. In these roles, they managed community programming, oversaw charitable and government relationships, and led community-focused communications and media relations.
In 2018, they joined Camp Quality Canada as the Associate Director of Communications & Development for Western Canada. Hannah'sresponsibilities included developing brand videos, fundraising analysis, launching fundraising events, and developing corporate partnerships.
In the same year, they also became the Director of Stewardship at the University of Manitoba, leading a team of stewardship officers and managing donor relationships. Hannah also served as the Manager of Alumni & Donor Relations Communications during this time.
In 2020, they joined DASCH as the Director of Development and later became the Director of Communications & Development. In these roles, they helped raise funds, resources, and develop partnerships to support individuals with intellectual disabilities.
Most recently, in 2018, they joined Wheelhouse Cycle Club as a Motivator, leading high-energy workouts, community investment initiatives, fundraising events, and awareness campaigns. Hannah later became the Fractional CMO/Director of Marketing, overseeing the national fitness brand's marketing strategies, virtual subscription-based workout platform, and the launch of their custom indoor cycling bike.
Hannah Pratt, MPNL has a diverse education history. Hannah obtained their Master's of Philanthropy & Nonprofit Leadership from Carleton University from 2018 to 2020. Prior to that, they completed a Creative Communications Diploma at Red River College Polytechnic from 2010 to 2012, with a focus on Public Relations. Hannah also holds a Bachelor's degree in Communications & Media, Theology from Canadian Mennonite University, which they acquired from 2006 to 2010. To further enhance their knowledge, Hannah obtained a Certificate in Indigenous Canada from the University of Alberta in 2017-2018, emphasizing on subjects within the social sciences and history. Additionally, they completed a course called "Content Strategy for Professionals: Engaging Audiences for Your Organization" from Northwestern University in 2014. Alongside their formal education, they obtained a certification in "Content Strategy for Professionals 1: Engaging Audiences for Your Organization" from Coursera in February 2014.
