Dr. Andreas Buschermöhle began their career in 2006 as a Research Assistant at Universität Osnabrück, where they worked on research and programming projects in computational intelligence methods. In 2007, they co-founded Osaft.networks, where they were the only programmer and developed the complete social network. In 2009, they returned to Universität Osnabrück as a Research Associate, where they were involved in teaching, research, and industry projects. Dr. Andreas finished their doctorate in the field of on-line machine learning in combination with handling uncertainties. In 2014, they joined Wheelhouse as Head of Product and Engineering and Head of Data Science. In this role, they built out four generations of the price recommendation engine, set up and managed the data store and data pipelines, and spearheaded data quality efforts. In the same year, they joined Lyric as Head of Data Science and Data Scientist, where they designed spaces and technology to empower a more creative and connected world.
Dr. Andreas Buschermöhle obtained a Doctor of Computer Science (Dr. rer. net.) from the Universität Osnabrück in 2014, a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Physics and Computer Science in 2009, and a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Physics and Computer Science in 2007, all from the Universität Osnabrück. Additionally, they obtained a certification in The Fundamentals of Revenue Management: The Cornerstone of Revenue Strategy from Coursera in April 2020, and an Executive Data Science Spezialisierung from Coursera in June 2019.
