Sam Baber

Sam Baber has over 25 years of experience in electrical engineering and fire service. At Whelen Engineering, Sam has held various roles since April 1996, progressing to the position of Electrical Engineering Technician. Additionally, Sam serves as the President of the Middlesex County Fire Chiefs since July 2021 and has been the Fire Chief at Haddam Volunteer Fire Company since July 2013, after advancing through several ranks from firefighter to captain. Sam also held the position of Captain at East Haddam Fire Department from October 2014 to January 2017. Sam completed high school at Vinal Technical High School, earning a degree in Electromechanical.
