Catherine Boekel

Catherine Boekel is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in brand and communications research and strategy. As a Founding Partner at Whereto since June 2015, Catherine leads a team that specializes in providing insights across commercial and social/government sectors. Previously, Catherine served as Partner in Social and Government Research at Hall & Partners I Open Mind from December 2007 to May 2015, and held key roles at the Department of Sustainability, Environment, Water, Population and Communities as a Senior Public Affairs Officer/Acting Director between 2005 and 2007, and at the Department of Health and Ageing as a Graduate Trainee and Project Officer in the Social Marketing Unit from 2002 to 2005. Catherine Boekel holds a Bachelor of Arts from Monash University and a Master's degree in Marketing Communication from the University of Canberra, in addition to education from Dickson College.
