Katie Alpin

Katie Alpin currently serves as Head of Strategic Insight at Which? since February 2021. Prior to this role, Katie held several significant positions, including Interim Chief Executive and Head of Research and Policy at Money and Mental Health, where contributions included providing leadership to a team of 11, managing an £800,000 budget, and securing over £100,000 in new funding. The establishment of a research and policy function at the charity was also a key responsibility, which involved creating an impactful research community and advisory board. Previous experience includes roles as an Economist at the Social Market Foundation and CEBR, delivering high-quality research and economic modelling. An educational background includes an MSc in International Political Economy from the London School of Economics, a BA (Hons) in Philosophy, Politics & Economics from the University of Oxford, and an Executive MBA from Warwick Business School.
