We build the tech other businesses run on.
WhileSmart is an IT solutions and software development company based in Buea, Cameroon, working with businesses across Africa and beyond. We design, build, and support custom software — web and mobile applications, enterprise systems, and open-source implementations for teams who need tech that actually ships, not just a proposal deck.
We work in five steps: understand the problem, design the solution, build and test it, launch it, and stay behind for the support and upgrades that keep it running. We also run hands-on training in software development, cloud computing, IT management, and cybersecurity, because good tech needs a team that can maintain it, not a vendor who disappears after launch.
We hold our own work to the same standard we bring to client projects. Among the things we've shipped: SourceAnt, an open-source AI code review tool; Trakli, a personal finance tracker application; StandUpMan, an async standup tool for distributed teams; Smartpings, a messaging and notifications API; and Mymo, a peer-to-peer lending platform. Each one taught us something we now bring to every engagement.
Thinking about the right tech solution for your business? Tell us what you need, and we'd be happy to brainstorm.
