Duncan McPherson

Duncan McPherson has a strong background in executive leadership and strategic advisory roles. Duncan is currently serving as the President of Whip Around US, a position they have held since 2023. Prior to this, Duncan was a Strategic Advisor and Chief Operating Officer at Ekos, where they implemented OKRs methodology for quarterly planning and results tracking, and also held interim responsibilities for Sales, Customer Success, HR, and Finance functions. Before their role at Ekos, Duncan was the Co-Founder and COO of Rival Inc, a technology platform for live event ticketing, which saw a successful VC exit in 2020. In their earlier career, Duncan served as the EVP of Ticketmaster, where they were responsible for optimizing business operations and productivity, and as the CEO of Unitrends, where they restructured top management and focused on metrics and accountability.

Duncan McPherson holds a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Psychology/Computer Science from Colgate University. Duncan also obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a focus on Operations Research from the University of Michigan - Stephen M. Ross School of Business. In addition to their academic achievements, Duncan McPherson is an OKR Certified Coach, having obtained certification in the Outcome Mindset Method from the Expert in the field in 2021.
