Alex Gao

Alex Gao is an experienced industrial designer with a strong background in various sectors, including adventure gear and landscaping design. Currently serving as an Industrial Designer II at Whipsaw since May 2022, Alex previously held roles such as Adventure Gear Designer at ROCKWORKX and Industrial Designer at P R O D U C T W O R K X, leading projects for diverse clients and honing advanced technical skills in concept visualization and prototyping. Earlier experience includes landscaping design and various design-related internships, showcasing a versatile skill set that encompasses the creation of both industrial and soft goods. Alex holds a Master's degree in Industrial and Product Design from the Academy of Art University, a Bachelor's degree from California College of the Arts, and an Associate of Arts from North Seattle College.
