Cal Spurlin

Cal Spurlin currently serves as the Director of Operations at Whirlpool Corporation since April 2025, following a successful tenure at Carrier where multiple roles included overseeing plant operations and leading assembly operations at the world’s largest gas furnace plant in Indianapolis. Spurlin's extensive experience in operations management spans various industries, including leadership positions at Pratt & Whitney, Otis Elevator Co., and United Technologies. A strong background in lean manufacturing, project management, and continuous improvement initiatives is complemented by academic credentials including an MBA from Indiana University and a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Kettering University.
