Jim Chester

Jim Chester is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in supply planning and logistics management. Currently serving as Sr. Manager of Supply Planning at Whirlpool Corporation since January 2008, Jim oversees production planning, inventory management, and product availability across North America. Previous roles at Whirlpool included Sr. Manager, Supply Chain Account Executive, and Sr. Manager, S&OP & Product Demand Management, focusing on process improvement and demand management strategies. Prior to Whirlpool, Jim held various logistics and program management positions at Motorola from September 1996 to 2008, including Sr. Logistics Manager, responsible for logistics operations for the North America 2-way radio business. Jim holds an MBA from Michigan State University and several Master's Certificates in Transportation Management and Project Management, along with a BS in Operations Management from Northern Illinois University. Additionally, Jim is a Certified Production & Inventory Manager through APICS.
