Matthew Harper

Matthew Harper has over nine years of experience in engineering, currently serving as the Engineering Manager for KitchenAid Small Appliances at Whirlpool Corporation since February 2014. In this role, Matthew oversees controls and motors engineering and has previously held various positions at Whirlpool, including Senior Electrical Engineer, Electrical Project Engineer, and Electrical Engineer, focusing on small appliances and cooking controls. Earlier in his career, Matthew worked as a Lab Technician, conducting tests on food preparation appliances and collaborating with cross-functional teams. Prior to joining Whirlpool, Matthew served as a Security Monitor at the University of Notre Dame. Matthew holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Physics from Purdue University, earned in 2011.
