Michael Friedman

Michael Friedman serves as Legal Counsel for the KitchenAid brand and associated areas at Whirlpool Corporation, a position held since January 2022. In this role, Michael also leads the in-house advertising agency WoW Studios and acts as the Global Commercial and Sales Attorney for the InSinkErator business unit. Prior to this, experience includes being an Associate Attorney at Greenberg Traurig, LLP, where focus was on intellectual property issues, and a similar role at DLA Piper. Earlier career experiences encompass work as an Intellectual Property Attorney at Brinks Gilson & Lione, and various internships and clerkships including positions at the U.S. Department of Justice, the EEOC, and a judicial internship with a U.S. District Court judge. Michael holds a Juris Doctor from The George Washington University Law School and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government from Northwestern University.
