Pranav Karan

Pranav Karan is an experienced engineering professional with a strong background in product design and development, currently serving as Engineering Manager at Whirlpool Corporation since January 2011. In this role, Pranav leads the global module design for refrigeration interior cabinets and the development of cooling and ice & water mechanical components for French door bottom mount refrigerators. Previous positions include Deputy Manager, where expertise in ice & water subsystems was gained, and Senior Engineer, focused on plastic component design and support for New Product Introductions (NPI). Prior experience includes design roles at Dell Perot Systems and Mahindra Satyam, specializing in engine mounting brackets and various components for breaker systems. Pranav holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from Lakshmi Narain College of Technology and is currently pursuing a Master of Business Administration with a focus on Merger and Acquisition at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
