Scott Schimp has extensive experience in advanced manufacturing and engineering, currently serving as the Global Advanced Manufacturing Planner for Whirlpool Corporation since July 2014. Scott has held various roles within the company, including Senior Engineer and Manufacturing System Design Development Lead, where responsibilities included leading the global Manufacturing System Design process and training global teams. Prior to joining Whirlpool, Scott completed a Senior Engineering Design Project at General Motors and worked as a Lead Teaching Assistant at Michigan State University. Scott's early career included internships at Parker Hannifin as a Manufacturing Engineering Intern. Scott holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Michigan State University and is pursuing a Master of Business Administration at Gies College of Business, University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
