Chad Chavez

Chad Chavez, EIT, currently serves as a Sales Engineer at Whirlwind Steel Buildings, Inc., starting in September 2024. Prior to this role, Chad held various positions at WGA Consulting Engineers, including Assistant to Project Manager and Project Engineer from October 2019 to September 2024. Chad also worked at Whirlwind Steel Buildings, Inc. as a Design Engineer from June 2018 to September 2019 and completed an internship as a Design Engineer Intern in May 2017. Chad's experience includes designing low to mid-level complexity metal building systems in compliance with building code specifications and reviewing and approving preliminary drawings of building system layouts. Chad earned a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Houston between 2013 and 2018.
