Monet Potter, CPA, is an experienced accounting professional with a robust background in operational accounting and tax compliance. Currently serving as Accounting Manager at Whisker since July 2024, Monet previously held the same title at Pet Supplies Plus from January 2014 to April 2024, where responsibilities included overseeing multiple business unit's accounting operations, payroll, benefit accounting, and SOX compliance. Monet's expertise extends to roles as Senior Accountant and Senior Tax Analyst, with significant experience in general ledger accounting, external audits, and tax audits across various organizations, including Collins, Buri and McConkey, LLP and Yarmak & Co. Academically, Monet holds a Master of Science in Accountancy from Walsh College and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Michigan.
