Johnny Stewart

Johnny Stewart has over 20 years of work experience in product and operations management. Johnny began their career in 1997 as an Exhibition Developer at the Science Museum, where they were exposed to carrying out research with end-users and feeding it into the design process. In 2000, they moved to Flow Interactive as a User Experience Consultant, where they ran over 650 research sessions with end-users and provided user-centred-design consultancy to a broad range of clients. From 2006 to 2015, Johnny was at Betfair, where they worked as Head of Acquisitions & Payments Products and Product Manager, Registrations and Payments. In this role, they were responsible for Betfair's accounts and payments systems and managed the Acquisitions & Payments Products team to maintain existing products and to define and deliver the development roadmap. In 2012, Johnny joined BullionVault as Product & Operations Director and Head of Product, where they were responsible for Product strategy and roadmap and worked hands-on with the Technology team to embed new agile methodology and to deliver new product on a fortnightly sprint schedule. In 2015, they moved to WhiskyInvestDirect as Product & Operations Director and Head of Product.

Johnny Stewart obtained a BA (hons) first class in Natural Sciences from the University of Cambridge in 1993, following three years of study. Johnny then went on to pursue a PhD in Science at the same university, which they completed in 1997.
