Michael G. Nathans

Michael G. Nathans has a long and varied career in the business world. Michael G. began their career in 1987 as President of Penn Capital, Inc., a multifamily real estate broker, asset manager and capital placement advisor. Michael G. also served as the financial advisor to HUD's asset manager for its defaulted multifamily mortgage portfolio comprised of over 800 communities. In 1997, they joined PricewaterhouseCoopers as a Senior Manager and Subject Matter Expert for Housing Finance and Asset Securitization, providing services to the firm's Wall Street and Government Agency clients. That same year, they also became an independent director for the C-BASS Reserve Fund. In 2002, they founded and became CEO of Pay Rent, Build Credit, Inc. (PRBC), which was purpose-built to support the inclusion of monthly payments for rent, utilities, and phone in credit scoring and automated auto loan and mortgage underwriting models, using data from the bill payment reporting systems of FDIC-insured banks and credit unions. Michael G. then joined the Policy & Economic Research Council in 2010 as a Senior Fellow and Advisory Board Member. Most recently, they have served as the Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder of WhisperSom Corporation since 2014.

Michael G. Nathans attended the University of Rhode Island in 1969, though they did not receive a degree. Michael G. then attended Franklin & Marshall College from 1971 to 1975, where they earned an AB in Biology.
