Akash Raj Komarlu

Akash Raj Komarlu is an accomplished technology professional with extensive experience in artificial intelligence and speech technology. As the CTO and Co-Founder of Whispp since September 2019, Akash has focused on developing AI models for individuals with voice disorders, facilitating their ability to communicate. In addition to leading Whispp, Akash founded BetterMOS in February 2023, a platform for gathering human opinions to enhance AI model quality, and serves as an AI Advisor at Mokin, helping refugees communicate in their native languages. Prior roles include a developer position at JASP, a speech engineer at Attendi, and various internships that contributed to expertise in machine learning, statistics, and software development. Akash holds a Master of Science in Artificial Intelligence from the University of Amsterdam and dual Bachelor of Engineering degrees in Computer Science Engineering and Electronics and Communication Engineering from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani.
