Jolimar Rodrigues, CPA, CGA has a strong background in accounting and finance with a variety of roles and experiences. Jolimar began their career at KPMG as a Senior Auditor from September 2005 to April 2009. Jolimar then moved on to Emerson Automation Solutions, where they worked as an Accountant from September 2010 to February 2015 and later became a Project Accountant from March 2015 to December 2018. During this time, they also took on additional responsibilities in payroll processing and department activities. In 2019, Jolimar joined Bow Valley College as a Project Accounting Analyst, providing support in project revenue recognition and budget entries until April 2021. Currently, they are working at Whissell Contracting Ltd. as a Financial Analyst / Project Accountant, responsible for preparing financial statements, managing KPI reporting, and providing training on system usage. Jolimar has consistently demonstrated their ability to meet deadlines while adapting to changing circumstances throughout their career.

Jolimar Rodrigues, CPA, CGA has a Bachelor degree in Accounting from UCAB - Universidad Católica Andrés Bello, which was earned between 2001 and 2006. Jolimar also obtained a CPA, CGA designation from Chartered Professional Accountants of Canada (CPA Canada) prior to 2016.

In terms of continuing education and certifications, Jolimar completed various courses and programs. Some of the certifications Jolimar obtained include "Communicating Across Cultures," "Diversity, Inclusion, and Belonging for All," "Effective Listening," "Empathy at Work," and "How to be an Adaptable Employee During Change and Uncertainty" from LinkedIn, all obtained in 2020 and 2021. Jolimar also holds a Certified Yoga Instructor certification from Alberta Yoga College, obtained in 2019. Additionally, in 2018, Jolimar completed the "Executive Presence for Women" program through LinkedIn.
