David Coules has over 25 years of work experience in various roles within the technology industry. David is currently the Director of Product and Technology Delivery at WhistleOut, where they have been since March 2020. Prior to that, David worked at Telstra from 2017 to 2020, holding the positions of Program Manager and Scrum Master.

From 2016 to 2017, David was the Head of Program at eGloo Technologies, where they played a hands-on lead role in developing key programs on integration services and cloud-based platforms. Before that, they held multiple roles at Pearson, including Director of Technology Delivery for Australia and Singapore and Manager roles within the Integrated Media Group. David's tenure at Pearson spanned from 2006 to 2015.

Earlier in their career, David worked at Copyright Agency Limited as a Business Development Executive and Business Process Analyst in 2005. David also worked at Pearson as a Project Manager and Project Manager-Business Analyst in 2004 and 2005 respectively.

David's career started at Wolters Kluwer, CCH Australia where they held the positions of IT Services Manager from 2001 to 2004, Software Development Manager from 1997 to 2000, and Senior Programmer from 1993 to 1996. Overall, David's work experience demonstrates a strong background in technology leadership, program management, and agile development.

David Coules obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Math and Engineering, specializing in Computer Science, from Queen's University. David then pursued their Master's in Business Administration and Management, General, from the Macquarie Graduate School of Management (MGSM), completing it between 2000 and 2004. In addition to their formal education, David also holds additional certifications such as Prince2 (2017) Practitioner from PM-Partners group and Professional Scrum Master I (PSM I) from Scrum.org, both obtained in August 2017.
