Melanie Western

Melanie Western is a results-driven leader with extensive experience in internal communications and stakeholder engagement across multiple organizations. Currently serving as Senior Manager of Internal Communications at Whitbread since April 2024, Melanie has a proven track record in developing integrated communication strategies that support company growth and manage employee communications during transformative periods. Previously, Melanie held the role of Internal Communications Manager at Ocado Group, where the focus was on nurturing talent amidst rapid international expansion. Additional experience includes serving as Vice Chair of Finance at Stanborough School, managing electoral processes for Hertsmere Borough Council, and various roles in sales and bid management within the corporate sector. Melanie's educational background includes a 2:1 Hons degree in Writing and Publishing from Middlesex University.
