Wesley Payne

Wesley Payne is a distinguished attorney with extensive experience in litigation, currently serving as a Partner at White and Williams LLP since February 2001. In addition to leading the Litigation Department and chairing the Diversity Committee, Wesley has held various roles including past member of the Executive Committee and Operations and Budget Committees, as well as a former Coordinator of the Litigation Associate Training Program. Notable achievements include an AV Preeminent ® rating by Martindale-Hubbell, recognition as a Pennsylvania "Super Lawyer," being named among the “Top 60 African American Attorneys” in Philadelphia by the Philadelphia Tribune, and receiving the 2012 Multicultural Leadership Award and an “Unsung Hero” designation from Legal Intelligence for pro bono work. Previous positions include Managing Attorney at Kemper Insurance Companies, Associate at Post & Schell, P.C., and Captain in the United States Army JAG Corps. Wesley holds a Juris Doctor from the University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Washington and Lee University.
