Alan Grund

Alan Grund's work experience includes the following positions:

1. Long Term Substitute Teacher at White Bear Lake Area Schools, ISD #624 since 2020.

2. Elementary School Teacher at ST. PAUL PUBLIC SCHOOL DISTRICT from 2018 to 2020. Alan is a dedicated and student-focused educator with over 5 years of teaching expertise. Alan is skilled at using differentiation, cooperative learning, and scaffolding to cater to students with different learning abilities. Alan also has experience integrating technology into the classroom and utilizing Seesaw for distant/remote learning.

3. Executive Team Lead at Target from 2014 to 2015. Alan'smain responsibilities were leading the replenishment team, executing and leading through new initiatives and change, and advocating for the well-being of others.

4. Team Lead at Target from 2011 to 2014. Alan managed talent and productivity, developed the team's talent, and encouraged team ownership of the area and product.

5. Associate Pastor at Milaca Alliance Church from 2001 to 2011. Alan focused on the Youth Program, Young Adults Program, Christian Education Program, and Emphasis World Missions. Alan planned and developed education strategies and supervised the work and interactions of 20 adults mentoring around 100 children annually.

Alan Grund's education history begins in 1998 when they obtained their Bachelor's degree in Bible and Theology from Crown College. Alan then pursued a Master's degree in Leadership from the same institution, completing it in 2014. In 2015, Alan attended Hamline University, where they earned a Master of Education (MEd) degree in Elementary Education and Teaching in 2018. In addition to their academic qualifications, Alan also obtained a certification as a Food Safety Manager from the National Registry of Food Safety Professionals (NRFSP) in June 2013.
