Derek Doescher

Derek Doescher has extensive work experience in the automotive industry. Derek currently holds the position of Automotive Instructor and Technology Education Building Lead at White Bear Lake Area Schools, ISD #624, where they provide high-quality instruction to secondary students, collaborates with teachers and industry professionals, and supports students in developing essential skills. Prior to this, they worked as a Converter at BIG DOT OF HAPPINESS LLC from October 2017 to August 2019. Derek also served as a C-Store Night Supervisor at Hy-Vee, Inc. from July 2015 to December 2016. Before that, they worked as a Light Duty Technician at Metropalitan Ford from July 2014 to August 2015, and as an Automotive Technician at German Auto Werks from May 2013 to January 2014. Derek'searlier experience includes working as a Level Two Technician at Roadshow BMW/MINI from May 2010 to February 2012.

Derek Doescher pursued their education in a chronological manner, starting in 2007. From 2007 to 2009, they attended the Universal Technical Institute, Inc., where they obtained a degree in Automotive with Ford FACT. In 2010, Derek briefly studied at MINI Cooper STEP, focusing on MINI Coopers. Later, from 2015 to 2017, they attended Minneapolis College, completing a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree, although the specific field of study is unknown. Finally, from 2017 to 2019, Derek studied at the University of Wisconsin-Stout, where they acquired a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Technology Teacher Education/Industrial Arts Teacher Education.
