Mike Beaty has extensive work experience in the construction industry. Mike started their career as a Project Engineer at the City of Los Angeles in 1989 and worked there until 1994. Mike then joined Vanir Construction Management as a Scheduler/Project Engineer/Construction Manager from 1994 to 1999. After that, they worked at Gilbane Building Company as a Sr. Project Manager from 1999 to 2013, where they managed various construction projects. In 2013, they joined Neu Security Services as a Project Executive, overseeing multiple construction projects for federal and private clients. Currently, they hold the position of Vice President Operations at White Construction since 2014, where they lead and manages the company's operations and is actively involved in internal quality teams for process improvement.
Mike Beaty attended The University of Texas at Austin from 1983 to 1988, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering. In terms of additional certifications, they are a LEED AP certified by the United States Green Building Council, and they are also a Registered Professional Engineer in California, as certified by the California Department of Consumer Affairs.
