Matthew Arrington began their career in 1993 as a Lead Programmer at Sega of America, Inc. Matthew then moved to Kronos Digital Entertainment in 1995, where they were Lead Programmer. In 1998, they joined Westwood Studios / Electronic Arts (EA) as a Senior Programmer. In 1999, they became a Senior Staff Programmer at PlayStation, where they worked on all the shipped Playstation GOW titles, primarily focusing on animation, character tech, and build tools. Matthew wrote a PSD based muscle, skin deformation system for GOW 4. In 2016, they joined White Elk LLC as Technical Director, where they shipped Covert - Oculus GO in 2018 and Eclipse: Edge of Light - Google Daydream VR in 2017. The latter was awarded Best Mobile VR Game by Upload VR and Best Daydream Game by Daydream District.
Matthew Arrington obtained a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Engineering from California State University, Long Beach between 1989 and 1993. Matthew also holds edX Honor Code Certificates for Artificial Intelligence and a Verified Certificate for Scalable Machine Learning.
