Lauren McGwin has a diverse work experience that spans various institutions and roles. Starting in 2010, they worked as an Audience Development and Curatorial Intern at The Women's Library, London Metropolitan University, before transitioning to positions such as Graduate Research Assistant, Library at the Hirshhorn Museum and Sculpture Garden and Fine & Decorative Arts Specialist at Quinn's Auction Gallery. In 2013, they held multiple internships and roles, including Decorative Arts Ceramic Intern at Tudor Place Historic House and Garden and Curatorial Intern and Research Assistant at the Smithsonian Institution, National Museum of American History.
