Dave Edwards has worked as the Director of Land Stewardship & Support Services at White Oak Wildlife Conservation since February 2019. Prior to this, they were the President of Tall Tines Wildlife & Hunting Consultants, Inc from August 2011. Dave also held the position of General Manager / Wildlife Biologist at MWV - Cabin Bluff from August 2011 until February 2019. Earlier in their career, they were a Manager/Wildlife Biologist at The Westervelt Company from June 2001 to August 2011. Dave started their career as a Biological Scientist at the Florida Fish & Wildlife Conservation Commission, and worked there from 1996 to 2001.

Dave Edwards has a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Forest Resources and Conservation from the University of Florida. Dave also holds a Master of Science (MS) degree in Wildlife Management from Mississippi State University. Additionally, they have obtained certifications such as Certified Pool Operator from the National Swimming Pool Foundation, Certified Wildlife Biologist from The Wildlife Society, Operator of Uninspected Passenger Vessels OUPV - Captains License from the United States Coast Guard Auxiliary, Orvis Endorsed Fishing Guide from Orvis, and Prescribed Burn Manager from the Florida Forest Service.
