Brett DeWall has a diverse work experience, starting in 2013 as an Information Security Consultant Intern at CliftonLarsonAllen, where they managed and delivered network penetration testing services and technology consulting to clients. Brett then progressed to the role of Information Security Consultant, where they continued to provide these services. In 2014, they became a Senior Information Security Consultant, still specializing in network penetration testing and risk analysis. In 2015, Brett joined Target as an Engineer, and later as a Senior Engineer. Brett returned to CliftonLarsonAllen in 2016 as a Senior Information Security Consultant, and quickly advanced to the position of Manager Information Security, where they managed and delivered network penetration testing services and technology consulting to clients. In 2018, Brett was promoted to Director Information Security, overseeing network penetration testing services, technology consulting, and risk analysis. Brett left CliftonLarsonAllen in 2019 to join White Oak Security as a Staff Specialist in Threat Emulation Services. Throughout their career, Brett has gained expertise in internal and external penetration testing, social engineering, risk analysis, and mentoring others in the Information Security field. In 2012, Brett co-founded DeWall Bros., a metalwork company specializing in Spoon Flowers.

Brett DeWall obtained a Bachelor's degree in Information Systems from St. Cloud State University, where they studied Information Technology. Brett attended St. Cloud State University from 2009 to 2013. Prior to that, Brett DeWall graduated from Grand Meadow High School in 2009, earning a High School Degree.
