Eric Ludvik has had a long and varied career in the technology industry. Eric began their career in 1989 as an Electrical Engineer, Instrumentation/Control Systems for Rust International. In 1992, they moved to Command Data as a Senior Programmer/Analyst, where they designed and tested software applications using the 'C' programming language. In 1994, they joined Professional Cad Services as an Application Engineer, where they served as Product Manager for the Rebis Industrial Workgroup Software product line. In 1999, Eric moved to Banctec as a Technical Support Analyst, where they supported Oracle based client-server software applications for the remittance processing industry. In 2007, they joined Sungard as a Technical Analyst, providing technical support for a client-server based software application for defined contribution plans. In 2011, Eric moved to Medseek as a Technical Support Engineer, providing technical support for a ColdFusion/MS SQL based content management system for the healthcare industry. In 2013, they became Self Employed at The Computer Guy Next Door, providing Personal Computer Support, Services and Repair, as well as Photo Restoration. Finally, in 2014, Eric joined White Plume Technologies as a Technical Support Engineer.

Eric Ludvik attended Jefferson State Community College from 2008 to 2009, where they studied Web and Software Development. Eric then attended the University of Alabama at Birmingham from 1982 to 1986, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE).
