Nicola Widnall

Nicola Widnall is an experienced educational leader currently serving as Vice Principal at The White Rose Academies Trust since January 2020. Previously, Nicola held the positions of Trust Assistant Principal and Acting Director for Professional and Organisational Development. Prior experience includes serving as Assistant Principal for Teaching, Learning, Assessment, and EAL at Leeds East Academy from April 2017 to January 2020, Head of Modern Foreign Languages at Todmorden High School from September 2014 to April 2017, and Head of Spanish at Westholme School from September 2012 to September 2014. Earlier roles also involved teaching Spanish and French and serving as Head of House at Silcoates School from September 2007 to August 2012. Educational qualifications include a Post Graduate Certificate in Education in Modern Foreign Languages from the University of Leeds and a BA Hons in Spanish Language & Literature from the same institution.
