Yasser Shoukry

Yasser Shoukry currently serves as an Assistant Professor at the University of California, Irvine since October 2019. Prior to this role, Yasser was an Assistant Professor in the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department at the University of Maryland from August 2017 to September 2019. Yasser's research experience includes a postdoctoral associate position at the University of California, Berkeley and a joint postdoctoral researcher role at UC Berkeley, UCLA, and the University of Pennsylvania from September 2015 to July 2017. Yasser completed a PhD in Electrical Engineering at the University of California, Los Angeles in 2015, and also has a Master of Science and Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Ain Shams University. Yasser has practical experience as an Embedded Software Developer at Mentor Graphics and has served as a Graduate Teaching and Research Assistant at Ain Shams University.
