Whitney Ortiz

Whitney is a proud Florida native and a graduate of the University of South Florida, where she received her B.A. in public relations and communications. Upon graduating from USF in 2011, she pursued a career in event planning and worked at a local event venue, managing a client base of 30-40 events per year.

In 2015, Whitney began working at The University of Tampa’s Sykes College of Business as a marketing and event coordinator. While at UT, Whitney discovered her love of marketing and decided to further her education, graduating from The University of Tampa in Aug. 2020 with her M.S. in Marketing. Whitney began working at White Whale in Jan. 2021 where she quickly fit into her role as an Account Manager and began building positive relationships with her clients.

When she’s not at Whale, Whitney enjoys traveling with her husband, binge-watching her favorite TV shows, snuggling with her cat (Lola), and working with the youth ministry at her local church.
