Emily Parker

Emily Parker has over 23 years of work experience with varying roles in web development, software engineering, project management, and leadership. Their recent experience includes being a Full Stack/Senior Software Engineer and Director of Technology at Suds Creative, where they were responsible for API development, database administration and design, custom reporting suites design, and ADA compliance implementation, among other duties. Emily has also worked as a Web Developer at Intralot, a Lead Developer at Yippy, and a Project Manager and WP Developer at White Whale Web. Emily's earlier experience includes working as a Stagehand at Sand Hollow Productions, an Intern at Audiolab, and a Radio Engineer at KBSU Radio.

Emily Parker attended Weiser High School from 1993 to 1997 and obtained a high school diploma. Emily then enrolled at Boise State University from 1997 to 1999 and completed an associate degree in Broadcast Engineering. In 2012, they pursued a bachelor's degree in Applied Science at Boise State University, majoring in Broadcast Engineering, Communications, and Business. In 2023, they obtained two certifications, "Ask Questions to Make Data-Driven Decisions" and "Foundations: Data, Data, Everywhere" from Coursera. Additionally, Emily has three certifications: FCC Certified Radio Operator, FCC Certified Television Operator, and SBE Certified Broadcast Engineer, but it is unclear when they obtained these certifications.
