Peter Huang

Peter Huang has over 20 years of work experience in the software engineering industry. Peter began their career in 1999 as a Software Engineer at Digital System Resources, Inc, where they developed software and firmware for military navy ships. In the same year, they also became a Software Engineer at DSR Solutions. From 2003 to 2005, they worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Lockheed Martin, providing software maintenance and support to a complex command and control system. From 2005 to 2007, they were a Senior Software Engineer at Arion Systems, Inc., where they were the lead engineer for an in-house Operations Logging Tool and provided training for network related software and issues. From 2007 to 2010, they were an O&M Support Lead, Sr. Software Systems Eng at SAIC, where they were responsible for training, maintaining support knowledge base, and providing technical support to Field Team. Since 2012, they have been a Principal Software Engineer at Whiteboard Federal Technologies.

Peter Huang has an education history that includes a BS in Computer Engineering from Virginia Tech (1993-1998), an MS in Computer Security from The George Washington University (2004-2006), and high school from Thomas Jefferson Highschool for S&T (1989-1993). Peter also has certifications from Splunk, (ISC)2, and CompTIA, including Splunk Certified Architect V6 (2014), CISSP (2013), ITILv3 Foundations (2012), and Security+ (2012).
